Emissive, a collaborative specialist of mixed reality

In order to promote smart grids and raise public awareness of energy issues, the Emissive studio, specialist in virtual reality, has designed alongside with Enedis a unique showroom that combines virtual and augmented reality experiences.

Mixed reality at the service of innovation

Within a 132 m² space, visitors are able to experience total immersion through the HTC Vive virtual reality helmet, collaborate and visualize content in augmented reality with Microsoft’s Hololens headset and interact on large touch screens.

With this project, Emissive demonstrates its ability to perform experiments and 3D content on all existing media, and asserts its expertise and vision in mixed reality. “We believe that these immersive and interactive technologies must complement each other and not be seen as exclusive or isolated. Each tool used for the showroom brings a specific added value to the message to be communicated and the audience naturally moves from one module to another thanks to a rhythmic scenario offering the best possible experience,” says Emmanuel Guerriero, President of Emissive.
